From the Lab to your Sewage Plant – Accelerators for Environmental Applications with Dr. John Vennekate from Jefferson Lab.

Dr. Vennekate will highlight the efforts at JLab to develop compact, conduction-cooled accelerators based on SRF technology to tackle environmental challenges like the mitigation of forever chemicals in our wastewater.

The lecture series is designed to share knowledge and information on topics of interest related to history, world events and science with a focus on anything that has ties to the Hampton Roads area.

The monthly lectures are free and open to the public with first-come, first-serve seating. After the presentation, there will be a Q&A session.  Cocktails and whisky flights available for purchase as well as snacks & small plates.
